Day 01: Turkey - Istanbul (no meal)
Arrive at Athens airport. Meet our host and transfer to your hotel. Check in and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 02: Istanbul (B)
Enjoy a full day tour of the Sultan ahmet district, the heart of old Istanbul. Firstly we visit the Hippodrome, the stadium of ancient Byzantium, where an Egyptian obelisk and a bronze sculpture of three entwined serpents from Delphi still survive. We then continue on to the Blue Mosque which owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior and the world famous Grand Bazaar. After lunch we visit the amazing Topkapi Palace, which from the 15th to the 19th Century was the principle residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 03: Istanbul - Izmir (B-D)
Pick up from your hotel in Istanbul and transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Izmir. Arrive at Izmir airport and meet with your guide.
We begin the tour firstly with a visit to Pergamon, where you will view the Asclepion, a popular health centre during the period of the Greeks and the Romans. As you make your way to the Acropolis, the Red Basilica, originally a temple of Serapis can be viewed. The most spectacular structure of the Acropolis is certainly the theatre, a remarkable piece of engineering built into the steep hillside. At the end of the day, we will drive to your hotel in Kusadasi for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Ephesus (B-D)
After having breakfast, we depart for a full day tour of Ephesus and Virgin Mary's House.
Firstly, we visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then proceed to the ancient city of Ephesus where you will explore some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. A definite must while in Turkey. Of course, not to be forgotten is the House of the Virgin Mary on top of Bulbul Mountain, a pilgrimage site for many people of all denominations. After the tour we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Pamukkale (B-D)
After breakfast we depart for Pamukkale. Upon your arrival you will see the Cotton Cliffs, one of the natural wonders of the world, formed by deposits of calcareous salts. We also take a visit to the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis, with its basilica, theatre and Roman baths.
After the tour we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Izmir - Istanbul & Cairo (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo (via Istanbul).
Arrival to Cairo airport. Our representative will Welcome and assist you through passport control Formalities, luggage identification & portage. Transfer by a private A/C car to your hotel and Overnight in your hotel in Cairo.
Day 07: Cairo (B)
(08:00 AM) Wake up call. Breakfast.
(09:00 AM) Tour starts to Visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinus. Next is a close-up look at Sphinx - a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Then onwards to Sakkara to see the first pyramid ever built - the step pyramid of Zosser.
Lunch in a restaurant beside the Pyramids (on your own cost).
Then free time. Over night at hotel.
Day 08: Cairo - Aswan (B-D)
Breakfast. Our city Tour starts with the Egyptian Museum where most of the fabulous treasure of the pharaohs are kept, then drive to the Citadel, which was the home for most of those who ruled Egypt for nearly 700 years. Later, we can explore many attractions of the Old Coptic, such as the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue (The Jewish Temple). Transfer to the Cairo station to catch the Sleeper train to Aswan.
Day 09: Aswan (B)
Welcome to Aswan. Meeting & assistance by our local representatives.
Transfer to your hotel and check in.
Visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries & The Temple of Philae.
Overnight at hotel in Aswan.
Day 10: Abu Simbel - Nile Cruise (B-L-D)
Breakfast. Optional trips: Abu Simbel by plane or by road.
Felucca on the Nile around Kitchener’s and Elephantine islands.
Afternoon, check-in Nile Cruise , Lunch and sailing to Kom-Ombo.
Visit Kom Ombo temple. Dinner and overnight.
Sailing to Edfu.
Day 11: Nile Cruise (B-L-D)
Breakfast then visit Edfu Temple
Sailing to Luxor. Lunch and Dinner.
Arrive Luxor and overnight.
Day 12: Nile Cruise (B-L-D)
Breakfast. Visit The West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Valley of The Queens and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari Afternoon a drive to Karnak & Luxor temples dedicated to Amoun-Ra the king of Gods. Lunch and Dinner.
Overnight on cruise.
Day 13: Luxor - Cairo (B)
Breakfast and transfer to Luxor airport to fly to Cairo.
Arrive Cairo and free day
Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Departure (B)
Farewell to Egypt as our tour ends today after breakfast. Transfer to Cairo International Airport.
